TCL, top-three global television manufacturer and leading consumer electronics brand, today announced that Neymar Jr., one of the world’s most influential and widely–recognized athletes, has been appointed as the company’s Global Brand Ambassador.
The agreement will last for two years, during which time Neymar Jr. will appear on TCL TV and print commercials across its major businesses including TCL Multimedia (the group’s TV business) and household appliances, and he will also participate in a series of high impact, global, online and offline marketing campaigns for the brand.
The two parties will also join forces for charity. The deal with 26-year-old Brazilian football superstar Neymar Jr. is part of TCL’s global brand strategy and will help TCL embrace a wide audience of young sports fans worldwide and raise TCL’s global brand visibility.

In 2003 Neymar began his professional career at the early age of 17 for the Santos Club and by 2011/12, was named South American footballer of the year. Moving to Barcelona in search of an international profile, it wasn’t until his move in 2017 to Paris Saint -Germain, he became one of the world’s highest paid football player.
